Michael Zomber exited a doctoral program in English literature at UCLA to pursue his passion and become a recognized authority on arms and armour . He was a guest historian on seven episodes of the History Channel’s series, Tales of the Gun. He has consulted for Sotheby’s, Bonham’s, Christie’s as well as numerous auction houses and museums. For 5 years he was the Marketplace Editor for the acclaimed Arms Heritage Magazine. The grandson of noted art collector, Robert Eisner, and great nephew of the renowned art historian, Max Friedlander, Michael has experience with paintings and works of art as well as Japanese, Islamic, and European arms and armour.
